Our Story
Inside Out RV is a family-owned business built on a lifetime of experience.
Matthew began working on RVs at just 9 years old, learning the trade from his father, who successfully operated Class One RV in Marysville, WA for over 15 years before retiring. That early hands-on experience built the foundation for a lifelong career focused on doing things the right way.
Now with over 30 years of real-world experience, Matthew brings a depth of knowledge and craftsmanship that sets the standard for quality repairs. In addition to his RV background, he is a certified diesel technician with formal training, along with multiple certifications across RV systems and service disciplines.
Matthew is committed to continuous learning—taking every training opportunity available and consistently asking questions to stay ahead of evolving technologies and repair methods. He doesn’t just work in the RV industry—he lives it.
Matthew later started his own RV repair business alongside his brother, whose passing continues to influence the heart behind Inside Out RV today. Together, they built the company on a simple principle: treat every customer like family and deliver work that is done right—not just done fast.
That mindset still drives everything today. Whether it’s helping customers understand their RV, making safe and lasting repairs, or going the extra mile when it matters most, Matthew takes pride in providing honest service with integrity.
His passion for RVs is deeply personal—some of his best memories were made with his grandmother, camping in her RVs and working together in the family business. That connection continues to shape how he approaches both his work and his customers.
Outside of the business, that same hands-on passion carries into rescuing animals, working on classic Toyota builds, and rebuilding diesel engines—always staying committed to the craft.
Outside of the shop, Matthew, his spouse, and members of the Inside Out RV team are also actively involved in animal rescue and sanctuary work. Together, they share a commitment to helping animals in need, reflecting the same level of care, dedication, and compassion they bring to their customers and the animals they serve every day.

Testimonials
“Inside Out Rv was awesome! I contacted mobile RV to repair the propane systems and appliances in my dad’s 5th wheel. Matthew was on time, and within minutes had figured out the problem. He repaired the gas lines, replaced the regulators, and serviced all of the gas appliances to make sure they were in good working order. He was also very personable, and you could tell he really cared about quality of work and professionalism. If we have any other issues with the 5th wheel, he will be the 1st person I call.
Thanks”
“So easy! Once I made the phone call, everything else was by email or text. They were able to even come out two days early because they were in the neighborhood. I didn’t even have to be there. I’ll definitely use them for future RV needs.”
“We just purchased a 2015 Minnie Winnie last month, and after one trip, hired “Inside Out” to winterize it. First of all, the team communicates thoroughly (by phone, text and with online apps). Secondly, they showed up on time, were friendly, professional, and really knew their stuff! But, best of all, Matthew genuinely seemed to love all things RV, and was kind of an “RV nerd” - enthusiastic to share knowledge and tips throughout the service - which we loved! He also showed us what he was doing, brought up some minor repairs and replacements he recommended for next year- and WHY they mattered. We never once felt like he was trying to flaunt his expertise or sell us something - he was just telling it straight. We are new to RVing, and thought we’d figure it out slowly, (and sometimes painfully) along the way - but stumbling across this company, feels as if we’ve found an expert to help us become experts of our own rig, and feel confident about our next adventures! Would definitely recommend and will use them again, 1000%”
“My RV heater went out and I needed help quickly. I sent a message to Inside Out RV asking about their services.. I received a call back within a few hours from Matthew a tech, he was able to come out that afternoon.
After checking out the problem he gave me options and the very next day I received a call with estimates and choices on replacing the fan or a brand new core.
One day later the techs were out and replaced a new core. Not only did Matthew and David replace the heater core but also gave me information on what I need to do as I live full time in my RV
Matthew was very informative and helpful and polite
I highly recommend this company for service and price.”

Our Goals
Peace of Mind, On and Off the Road
Whether your RV is your full-time home, your weekend getaway, or your home away from home, our mission is simple: to provide professional, honest, and dependable service that keeps your investment protected and your adventures moving forward.
At Inside Out RV LLC, we believe quality repairs begin with understanding why something failed in the first place. From complete RV roof replacements and structural restoration to advanced electrical diagnostics and slide-out system conversions, our goal is to provide lasting solutions rather than temporary fixes.
What Sets Us Apart
Generations of Experience: With over 30 years of hands-on industry experience, professional certifications, and specialized training, we bring extensive knowledge to everything from routine maintenance to complex structural repairs.
Authorized Vroom Slide Systems Installer: We proudly offer Vroom Slide Systems conversions for compatible Schwintek In-Wall, 3TRAX, and SlimRack slide-out systems. These heavy-duty, American-made systems provide an alternative to repeatedly repairing worn or failing original mechanisms.
Advanced Slide-Out Diagnostics: Slide-out failures aren’t always caused by poor maintenance. Frame movement, road conditions, improper installation, structural damage, alignment problems, and mechanical design limitations can all contribute to premature failure. We inspect the entire slide-out assembly to identify underlying problems before recommending repairs or conversions.
Professional RV Roofing Solutions: From roof inspections and preventative resealing to extensive water damage restoration, complete roof replacements, and long-term roofing solutions, we focus on protecting your RV from the elements.
Structural Repair Specialists: Rotten floors, damaged walls, delamination, collision damage, and water intrusion require more than surface-level repairs. We specialize in identifying and correcting underlying structural problems.
Continued Education & Specialized Training: Our technicians continually invest in professional training, manufacturer education, and modern repair techniques to stay current with evolving RV technologies.
Personalized Service: We take time to explain our findings, answer questions, and help owners understand their RV systems and available repair options.
Quality Materials & Workmanship: We believe in using appropriate materials, following manufacturer specifications, and performing repairs correctly rather than cutting corners.
Honest Recommendations: Not every RV needs a complete replacement or major repair. We help customers understand what needs immediate attention, what can be maintained, and when an upgrade may be the better long-term investment.
Comprehensive RV Services: From roofing, slide systems, plumbing, propane, electrical, solar, and appliances to custom modifications, GPS tracking, insurance repairs, and structural restoration, we offer extensive services at our Snohomish-area shop and through our mobile service.
Tired of Fighting With Your Slide-Out System?
Have you experienced any of these problems?
Slide-out won’t extend or retract
Grinding, popping, or unusual motor noises
Motors stalling or struggling during operation
Slide-out moving unevenly or becoming misaligned
Aluminum shavings collecting around the slide mechanism
Repeated motor, gear, or track failures
Slide-out getting stuck while traveling
These symptoms may indicate mechanical wear, alignment problems, electrical faults, structural movement, or other issues requiring professional diagnosis.
As an Authorized Vroom Slide Systems Installer, Inside Out RV offers an alternative for owners experiencing repeated failures with compatible original slide-out mechanisms.
Why Consider a Vroom Slide System?
Vroom Slide Systems feature:
Heavy-Duty Construction — Engineered for strength and dependable operation.
Made in the USA — American-made components and precision manufacturing.
CNC-Machined Billet Aluminum — Precision-machined components designed for durability.
Improved Gear Alignment — A patented pinion housing design helps maintain proper gear engagement while accommodating slide-room movement.
Bearing-Supported Operation — Roller and needle bearings help reduce friction and support smoother operation.
Secure Motor Mounting — Motors are bolted directly to the upper pinion housing for a more secure mechanical connection.
Manual Retraction Capability — A patented design provides a means of manually retracting a slide in certain failure situations, following the manufacturer’s procedure.
Vroom systems are designed to accommodate normal slide-room movement while maintaining drive alignment, helping address some of the mechanical challenges found in traditional in-wall slide mechanisms.
However, even the best slide-out system depends on a structurally sound room, proper measurements, alignment, and professional installation.
That’s why we evaluate your existing slide-out before recommending a conversion.
Our Commitment to You
At Inside Out RV, our goal isn’t simply to get your RV out the door. It’s to help you understand your equipment, protect your investment, and feel confident in the work being performed.
Whether we’re replacing a roof, rebuilding a damaged wall, installing a Vroom Slide System, or completing routine maintenance, we bring the same commitment to safety, craftsmanship, and attention to detail.
We believe in doing the job right, addressing the root cause, and helping you enjoy your RV with fewer surprises down the road.
